Takfirism

Division and sectarianism are diseases that afflict the Muslim world, and against which the texts of the Koran and the Sunna have warned us. For several decades now, a sect with dangerous ideas and criminal acts has been gaining ground and making itself known through a variety of means: attacks, aggressions, media stunts, and so on. This is takfirism, some of whose ideas can be traced back to Kharijite ideology. In Western Muslim communities, the takfirites are attracting more and more people, especially young people who are rediscovering Islam and are easily taken in by the simplistic, binary and, above all, completely erroneous vision of this dangerous and misguided sect. That's why it's important to know how to refute, point by point, the equivocations and pseudo-arguments put forward by these pseudo-muftis who are, most of the time, very strong when it comes to making a media stunt, but pathetic in a religious and scholarly debate.
