Le coffret des bonnes manières is a box containing a fun game for children aged 3 and over. This educational game is brought to you by Learning Roots.

What does the Good Manners Box Set contain?

The Good Manners boxed set contains 54 illustrated cards and an instruction booklet with references from the Koran and Sunnah to complete each card.

What is the aim of the game?

This card game is designed to support your activities. Each card contains an illustration as well as the name in French and the name in Arabic for each behavior.

Here are a few examples of the cards you'll find:

  • Honor your parents
  • Invoking Allah for those who sneeze
  • Receiving guests well
  • Maintaining friendships
  • Exchanging gifts
  • Being grateful

This good manners box set from Learning Roots will introduce your children to good behavior and manners in a fun and playful way, drawing inspiration from the best of men, our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. It's important to introduce children to this kind of learning at an early age so that they understand the importance of these values that are omnipresent in our religion.

Some examples of games

This card game reproduces several everyday situations, and you can invent several ways of playing with the different themes addressed, depending on the child's age but also on his or her request.

Examples:

  • Work on themes they already know: have them choose the cards they know, and ask them questions about them to broaden their knowledge and check what they've understood or not (Honor their parents: in what way? Ask them for examples). When he's older, you can even ask him for proof of each card.
  • Learn Arabic phrases : Using the Arabic phrases that translate the actions, try to introduce the child to the Arabic language.
  • Choose a card and try to put it into practice : ask the child to choose a card that he or she will try to reproduce during the day. Example: the "Preserve family ties" card, suggesting that they call or visit a relative they haven't seen for a long time.

This 54-card deck is even suitable for parents who practice IEF (Instruction En Famille) - also known as home schooling - as an activity support.
